The Old Parts Car Club’s annual anti-cancer car show took place,
with over 100 cars on display in the car park, and all proceeds from the show will be donated to 7-year-old Leila.
Leila had a problem with her left eye and underwent an MRI,
which raised the possibility of a tumor, and endured a week of grueling tests and surgery.
Leila has a rare cancerous tumour found on hospital tests
Tests confirmed a rare cancerous tumor and she underwent an eight-hour operation.
The cancer was removed but returned a year later. The children’s hospital told her that this kind of cancer is so rare that they don’t even have a record of it.
It was in this difficult situation that the Old Parts Car Club decided to give the donation to Leila’s family.

Leila’s mother, Amanda, said that she was surprised and grateful that the Old Parts Car Club was able to help Leila as no one else in the family was a member of the club.
The organizers of the event thanked the many people who attended and donated despite the hot weather.
