The recipient of the donation, Hunger in Moose Jaw, has been receiving monetary donations at the end of the car show every year, and the charity uses these donations to help more youth. It is very rare that they have to cancel a car show like this, but the 70 km/h winds and heavy rain forced them to cancel the car show. They were very disappointed that the car show was canceled, but said they will try again next year.
