MOPAR SOUTHERN CLASSIC a HOME RUN!
The 8th Annual Mopar Southern Classic is now history, but it will be recorded as a success! We had 180 Show Cars, plus a variety of vendor, swap meet dealers and project cars for sale. We had a beautiful (but HOT) day, a ton of spectators, tasty food, burn-outs, slow drags, a great kids’ area, and ended the day with a stack of awards, and gave away a Car Hauler, a pair of AirTran Airline tickets and the 50/25/25 winnings.
Year One provided a very nice setting for the event and plans are already underway for next year’s event.

Of course, no event would be a success without the Club Volunteers and this year we had a GREAT bunch! If you were there, they were VERY visible in the fluorescent yellow shirts. A special thanks to the judges! They spent all day in the heat judging tons of cars, and we actually got the awards ceremony started ON TIME!
